ERCOT Power
ERCOT power prices began the week slowly decreasing into the middle of the week.

ERCOT prompt on peak month finished the week at $54.49, down 6.20% or $3.38.

ERCOT Cal ‘09 on peak finished last week at $68.51/ MWh, down 3.00%.

ERCOT ‘Cal ‘10 on peak closed at $65.31/MWh, down 2.09%.

The prompt month on peak for the Houston Zone finished at $59.61/MWh, a decrease of 2.11%, and the prompt month North Zone on peak finished at $54.49/MWh, down 6.20%.

NYISO-NEPOOL Power
Northeast power prices started the week on a steady path and decreased as mid week approached.

NYISO Zone J on peak prompt month closed the week at $92.85/MWh decreasing $4.25/MWh, a decrease of 4.58% from last week.

NYISO Zone A on peak prompt month finished at $65.60/ MWh, a decrease of $3.13/MWh or 4.78%.

Massachusetts NEMA on peak prompt month closed at $78.12/MWh, a decrease of 4.75% or $3.71/MWh.

Massachusetts SEMA on peak prompt month finished the week at $79.52/MWh, decreasing 4.66% or $3.71/MWh.

PJM Power
PJM power prices started the week on a steady path and decreased slightly at mid week. The week closed with prices continuing on an decreasing path.

Cinergy on peak prompt month finished last week at $56.27/MWh, a change of 6.56%, decreasing $3.69/MWh.

NI Hub on peak prompt month finished the same week with a decrease of $3.81/MWh closing at $56.44/MWh, a change of 6.76%.

PJM West Hub on peak prompt month decreased $3.07/ MWh closing at $66.12/MWh, a change of 4.64%.

PSEG on peak prices for the prompt month closed at $82.42/MWh, a change of 3.72%, down $3.07/MWh.

Natural Gas Market
Natural gas prices started the week on a decreasing path and continued through mid week and declined as the week came to an end.

NYMEX prices for the prompt month finished the week at $7.90/MMBtu, an decrease of 6.60%.

NYMEX Cal ‘08 closed at $8.23MMBtu, a change of 3.84%, down $0.32/MMBtu.

NYMEX Cal ‘09 finished the week at $8.52/MMBtu; NYMEX Cal ‘10 closed at $8.35/MMBtu.

Algonquin, Transco Z6, and Tetco M3 prompt month closed at $1.15/MMBtu, $1.45/MMBtu and $0.97MMBtu.

Natural Gas Storage: Gas in Storage Increased 68 Bcf

Working gas in storage was 3,545 Bcf as of Friday, November 2, 2007, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 36 Bcf from the previous week.

Stocks were 99 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 291 Bcf above the 5-year average of 3,254 Bcf.

In the East Region, stocks were 110 Bcf above the 5-year average following net injections of 13 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 143 Bcf above the 5-year average of 920 Bcf a net injection of 17 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 37 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net addition of 6 Bcf. At 3,545 Bcf, total working gas is above the 5-year historical range.
