ERCOT Power
ERCOT power prices began the week on a steady path and increased as midweek approached. The week ended with prices declining to its original levels.

ERCOT prompt month finished the week at $50.44, up 0.83% or $0.42.

ERCOT ‘Cal ‘08 closed at $64.34MWh, up 1.34% ERCOT ‘Cal ‘09 closed at $63.98/MWh, up 1.01%.

ERCOT ‘Cal ‘10 closed at $62.28/MWh, up 0.69%.

The prompt month on peak for the Houston Zone finished at $54.32/MWh, and the prompt month North Zone on peak finished at $50.44/MWh.



NYISO—NEPOOL Power
Northeast power prices started the week on an inclining path and continued on this trend to the middle of the week. The week ended with power prices staying at its midweek’s levels.

NYISO Zone J on peak prompt month closed the week at $110.05/MWh increasing $7.60/MWh, an increase of 6.91% from last week.

NYISO Zone A on peak prompt month finished at $78.80/ MWh, an increase of $6.91/MWh or 8.77%.

Massachusetts NEMA on peak prompt month closed at $115.63/MWh, an increase of 25.42% or $29.40/MWh.

Massachusetts SEMA on peak prompt month finished the week at $91.17/MWh, decreasing 1.66% or $1.51/MWh.



PJM Power
PJM power prices started the week on a steady path and decreased slightly at mid week. The week closed with prices continuing on a decreasing path.

Cinergy on peak prompt month finished last week at $61.54/MWh, a change of 4.40%, decreasing $2.71/MWh.

NI Hub on peak prompt month finished the same week with a decrease of $2.19/MWh closing at $61.32/MWh, a change of -3.58%.

PJM West Hub on peak prompt month increased $2.68/ MWh closing at $74.83/MWh, a change of +3.58%.

PSEG on peak prices for the prompt month closed at $85.18/MWh, a change of 3.90%, down $3.32/MWh.



Natural Gas Market
Natural gas prices started the week on a declining path and leveled off at midweek. Natural gas prices finished the week continuing on this declining path.

NYMEX prices for the prompt month finished the week at $7.16/MMBtu.

NYMEX Cal ‘08 closed at $7.53/MMBtu, a change of -0.18%, down $-0.01/MMBtu.

NYMEX Cal ‘09 finished the week at $8.25/MMBtu; NYMEX Cal ‘10 closed at $8.30/MMBtu.

Algonquin, Transco Z6, and Tetco M3 prompt month basis to NYMEX closed at $1.17/ MMBtu, $1.57/MMBtu and $1.00/MMBtu.

NYMEX crude prompt month prices closed at $88.28/BBL, a change of –0.49% or -$0.43 from the previous week.



Natural Gas Storage: Gas in Storage Decreased 12 Bcf
Working gas in storage was 3,440 Bcf as of Friday, November 30, 2007, according to EIA estimates.

This represents a net decline of 88 Bcf from the previous week.

Stocks were 32 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 273 Bcf above the 5-year average of 3,167 Bcf.

In the East Region, stocks were 84 Bcf above the 5-year average following net withdrawals of 45 Bcf.

Stocks in the Producing Region were 143 Bcf above the 5-year average of 902 Bcf after a net withdrawal of 29 Bcf.

Stocks in the West Region were 46 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net drawdown of 14 Bcf.

At 3,440 Bcf, total working gas is above the 5-year historical range.
