ERCOT Power
ERCOT power prices began the week slowly increasing
reached its peak at midweek and started declining.
The week ended with prices reverting to an increasing path.
ERCOT Prompt month deliveries closed at $52.43/MWh,
increasing $6.94/MWh or 13.24%.
ERCOT ‘09 finished the week at $71.96/MWh up, 2.03%.
ERCOT ‘10 closed the week at $69.94/MWh, up 0.62%.
The prompt month for the Houston Zone finished at $53.81/
MWh an increase of 12.20% and the prompt month North
Zone finished at $52.43/MWh up 13.24%.

NYISO-NEPOOL Power
Northeast power prices started the week on a declining
path and increased by midweek. It decreased to
its original levels at the end of the week.
Prompt month prices for the Northeast decreased by 22%
to 29% compared to 3 months ago for the same trading
month.
NYISO Zone J prompt month closed the week at $76.80/
MWh decreasing $2.61/MWh, a loss of 3.40% from last
week.
NYISO Zone A prompt month finished at $57.05/MWh, a
gain of $3.90/MWh or 6.84%.
Massachusetts NEMA prompt month closed at $64.43/
MWh, an increase of 8.23% or $5.30/MWh.
Massachusetts SEMA prompt month finished the week at
$63.55/MWh, increasing 8.34% or $5.30/MWh.

PJM Power
PJM power prices started the week at constant rate and
increased slightly by mid-week. The week closed with
prices staying on this slightly increasing path.
Cinergy prompt month finished the week at $47.40/MWh, a
change of 6.43%, increasing $3.05/MWh.
NI Hub prompt month finished the week with a gain of
$3.90/MWh closing at $46.90/MWh, a change of 8.32%.
PJM West Hub prompt month gained $5.30/MWh closing
at $54.80/MWh, a change of 9.67%.
PSEG prices for the prompt month closed at $66.80/
MWh, a change of 7.93% or $5.30/MWh.
Compared to 3 months ago, PJM prices are 20% to 24%
lower for the same trading period.

Natural Gas Market
Natural gas prices increased
as the week began
and decreased at midweek.
The week closed with
prices returning to an increasing
path.
NYMEX prices for the prompt
month finished the week at
$6.28/MMBtu, an increase of
12.39% or $0.78/MMBtu.
Oct. 07 prices are approximately
28% lower than 3
months ago.
NYMEX Cal. ‘08 closed at
$7.95/MMBtu, a change of
3.77%, up $0.30/MMBtu.
NYMEX Cal ‘09 finished the
week at $8.26/MMBtu; NYMEX
Cal ‘10 closed at $8.04/MMBtu.
Algonquin, Transco Z6, and
Tetco M3 prompt month closed
at $1.22/MMBtu, $1.62/MMBtu,
and $1.04/MMbtu respectively.

Natural Gas Storage: Gas in Storage Increased 64 Bcf
Working gas in storage was
3,069 Bcf as of Friday, September
7, 2007, according to
EIA estimates.
This represents a net increase
of 64 Bcf from the previous
week.
Stocks were at the same level
this time last year and 260 Bcf
above the 5-year average of
2,809 Bcf.
In the East Region, stocks
were 119 Bcf above the 5-year
average following net injections
of 50 Bcf.
Stocks in the Producing Region
were 113 Bcf above the 5-year
average of 802 Bcf after a net
injection of 12 Bcf.
Stocks in the West Region
were 28 Bcf above the 5-year
average after a net addition of
2 Bcf.
At 3,069 Bcf, total working gas
is within the 5-year historical
